Regulations and guidelines for using our Church buildings
Unfortunately, there are quite a few regulations we need to follow to allow us to use our buildings
As per Government and Baptist union guidelines
As we arrive, we will need to social distance keeping 2metres apart from anyone we do not live with
We will need to keep a record of all who attends for track and trace and there will be a QR code for those using the NHS app .
We will need to hand sanitize on entry and follow the one way systems clearly marked
Please do not be offended if the building at any time reaches it’s capacity for attendees to safely social distance and we are unable to allow you to enter the building.
We will need to wear a face covering at all times
We will need to stay seated with those we live (children to stay with their family) and remain 2 metres apart from those we do not live with at all times
We are not allowed to use the hymn books or bibles , if you feel you need either of these please bring your own and take it home again.
We have had to remove all the cushions to follow the regulations so again if you feel you will need a cushion please bring your own and take it home with you.
We are asked to use the toilets as little as possible, but if toilets are required we must observe social distancing and please clean toilet after ourselves
The Kitchen will remain closed to all users of the Building for the time being to make following the regulations easier (so if you feel you may need water please bring your own and take any empty bottles home.)
The regulations state we will not be allowed to sing.
Please wrap up warm as the regulations ask us to maintain a good level of ventilation wherever possible.
A box for any offerings will be on the piano (away from entrance or exit for security reasons) as we are not allowed to take an offering in the usual manner
The regulations also state we are not allowed to socialize before or after the service so we will need to leave the building directly after the service has finished , if you wish to chat please move away from the building to do so and remember to ensure you stay in groups of less than 6
We will all need to follow these regulations for us to continue to meet in our buildings and if we find we are unable to follow these regulations or the regulations change again requiring us to close we will need to unfortunately suspend services once again.
